Sustainability in Action
Sustainability is important to us at every stage. Our fleet of vehicles includes Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs), and we’re actively trialling electric models. We carefully plan all journeys using technology and local knowledge to reduce emissions. Where possible, we use pool vehicles and public transport. Even our traffic lights use the latest rechargeable, generator-free technology.
We also work with small and medium-sized suppliers who share our commitment to fairness and sustainability ensuring our impact is positive from the ground up.
Supporting Our People
We’re proud to invest in apprenticeships as the foundation for lifelong careers. Over the past two decades, we’ve trained more than 100 apprentices in roles across the business, and equipping them with the skills to become senior leaders, directors, and even founders of their own companies.
We support every apprentice to develop life skills alongside their qualifications, help them grow in confidence and find roles that truly suit them.
Giving Back Locally
We believe business should benefit the communities it operates in. That’s why we partner with local charities, sponsor grassroots sports teams, and celebrate local heroes too. It’s just one of the ways we stay connected to the people and places around us.
